The Panasonic EY7450LR2S 18 volt cordless drill from Panasonic comes with two 3.3Ah batteries for an extended runtime. Featuring cobalt lithium ion technology ensures they stay cooler therefore extending the life of the batteries. The batteries also have 3 types of protection built in. Each cell has an overload sensor and protector. There is an undercharge protector to ensure the battery never discharges fully. There is also an overheat protector to ensure the battery doesn't get too hot
