Low vibration, easy handling and comfortable cutting

Carpentry and general construction professionals rely on a jigsaw to cut straight, mitered or freehand patterns to produce professional, exacting results. With the EY4541X cordless jigsaw, users will find its low center of gravity and counterbalanced mechanism helps make cuts with less chatter, vibration and greater accuracy. The compact tool’s low center of gravity and low-riding handle design puts the blade power close to the cutting surface for less vibration and greater user comfort and control. The tool is compact, at just 6-15/16” tall x 10-7/8” long x 2-1/2” wide. It has a 25/32” stroke length that cuts at 0-2,400 strokes per minute (spm). At only 5.0 lbs., including battery, the tool is easy to handle in a variety of cutting positions. Its three-stage orbital action adjustment controls the tool’s four-stage pendulum action, which helps users select the level of cutting aggressiveness to match the material being cut. The tool can miter from 0-45 degrees and cut up to 2-9/16”-diameter wood, ¼” diameter mild steel and 3/8”-diameter aluminum with the appropriate 1/16” thick blade. An LED light illuminates the work area to make the cutting line easier to see and the clear plastic blade guard. In combination with the low-center design and the tool airflow, the tool keeps dust off the cutting line while reducing dust ejected onto the user’s face and surrounding work area in overhead cutting applications. A vacuum can be easily attached to further reduce dust from cutting.
