Panasonic's new EY45A1X Li-ion Cordless Reciprocating Saw (tool body only) delivers faster cutting and demolition performance to carpentry, plumbing, electrician, installation, and demolition workers. This versatile tool features the new Panasonic Dual Voltage Technology which allows the user to use the cordless reciprocating saw as an 18V or 14.4V tool. The compact tool - only 18-1/8" long x 8-1/4" tall x 3-7/16" wide -- has a high-torque motor with a 1-1/8" long stroke length that makes cutting thin or thick metal pipes easy. The reciprocating saw can drive the blade at 0-2,800 strokes per minute. At just 7.5 lbs. including battery, the tool's light weight and ergonomic design helps keep the user's wrist in the neutral position. The light weight and tool design work together to cause less fatigue and improve tool control.

Like many Panasonic tools, the EY45A1X (tool body only) is Tough IP rated. That means it passed demanding laboratory tests of working in extremely dusty work environments and the effects of water getting sprayed on the tool by powerful jets.
