Every so often a tool comes along that completely changes the way woodworking is done and the original Domino was just that type of tool when it was introduced in 2007. Realizing that there are bigger projects and applications that needed to be tackled, Festool will be introducing the new Domino XL DF 700 in June of 2012, which, just like the original Domino, makes mortise and tenon joinery a breeze but on a larger scale.

The new DOMINO XL Joiner produce full size mortise and tenon joints! Creates mortises up to 9/16". Perfect for furniture makers, this German-made machine can join full-sized tables, benches, beds, and much more. This revolutionary tool can also be used in handrails, doors, gates, fences, and many other applications. The end result will be a durable, hidden joint.

The is the DOMINO XL DF 700 SET, which includes the Trim Stop and Cross Stop. If those aren't necessary for your applications, you can purchase the DOMINO XL Joiner standard kit.
