The Porter Cable 7539 3-1/4HP 5-Speed Plunge Router with 15 Amp motor provides power and durability necessary for your toughest applications. The versatile, electronic five-speed motor with 10,000, 13,000, 16,000, 19,000, and 21,000 rpm settings accommodates various router bit cutting diameters and applications. The built in soft-start feature reduces torque at start-up and allows the motor maintain constant speed under load. The Porter Cable 7539 has a depth rod with 6-position adjustable turret enables stepped or repeated plunge cuts and a 3" plunge range and a precision machined aluminum motor housing and base. The sealed switch and sealed ball bearing construction will enhance tool durability. The large handle incorporates the trigger switch with lock-on feature and enhances user control.
