Primarily intended for use with a hammer to chip old putty out of window frames. It can however be used for many other purposes as it has a strong carbon steel blade which tapers from 5/16" at the back to 7/32" (8mm-5.5mm) at the cannel. The two leather scales are fixed to the tang by 3 rivets.
