All tools are a pre-indexed length!
After discussing tooling needs with a variety of end users, we discovered that creating a set of tools which were all the same length added two tremendous advantages to iCarver owners:

• Minimizes the potential for damage to aluminum machine bed: If properly seated, all your tools will be unable to reach the aluminum bed before hitting the lower limit switch.
• Quick tool change for multiple tool operations: Those of you who are starting to machine more complex projects using multiple tools know that one of the critical steps is re-zeroing your Z axis between tools. Our new tooling set with pre-indexed lengths will eliminate that challenge forever. Simple change the tool and use your "Old Origin" position (feature available on 40-915X only) and start machining

Custom Designed Nylon Spacers
Each tooling set comes with two nylon spacers that are easily inserted into the collet of your iCarver before installing the cutting tool. This spacer serves two very three very important functions:

• Ensuring correct indexing of each tool for safety and multiple tool machining projects
• Vibration dampener to protect the spindle motor and improve cut quality
• Heat diffusion to avoid temperature build-up due to metal-on-metal contact which can occur when a tool is fully seated in the collet

We have included a total of 8 tools in this set to allow you to cut a wide range of projects. The kit includes:

Two V-Bits for 2D Carving
a 90 degree and a 60 degree bit - the two most popular profiles for carving.

Three additional End Mills
A 1/4" end mill for clearing, as will as a 1/8" and 1/4" down spiral end mill for through-cutting.

Two Ball Nose Cutters for 3D machining
A 1/4" and a 1/8" ball nose end mill for 3D carving.

One replacement 1/32" Conical V-Bit
Identical to the one that was supplied with your machine!
