Mafell’s hardwood-cutting band saw blade for the Z5Ec is designed for precision and reliability in demanding applications. Sold individually, this blade measures 6 mm (approximately 1/4") wide with 6 teeth per inch, making it ideal for smooth, continuous cuts in hardwoods such as oak, maple, and birch.
It has also proven effective for ripping materials like Douglas fir and cypress, thanks to their hardwood-like characteristics. For optimal performance, users recommend applying a light coat of DuPont spray before use.
In addition to the Z5Ec, this blade is compatible with select legacy Mafell portable band saws, including the Z5E, Z3K, and Z3L.
