The makita proud setting nose adapter (1916p4-2) is for use with 40V XGT and 18V LXT 3-1/2" framing nailer models including the 40V Max XGT 30º clipped head 3-1/2" framing nailer (GNB01), the 40V Max XGT 21º full round head 3-1/2" framing nailer (GNB02), the 18V LXT 21° full round head 3 1/2" framing nailer (XNB03), and the 18V LXT 30° clipped head 3 1/2" framing nailer (XNB07), all sold separately. The proud-setting nose adapter is purpose-built to leave nails proud for easy removal. It ensures the nail head remains above the surface for easy removal. The proud-setting nose adapter is used in non-permanent structures including scaffolding, formwork, or bracing.
