Introducing the Amana Tool dowel drill with a 3mm cutting diameter. This left hand brad point boring bit is coated with a special non-stick color coating called Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). The carbide tip cutting edges are coated as well, eliminating the need for sanding before use. As the tool starts drilling, the coating clears off the cutting edge instantly, reducing friction between the chip and the body inside the flute. This creates a cooler drilling area, preventing burning and ensuring a longer lasting cutting edge. It has a cutting height of 40mm.
