The parallel stop is great for making parallel cuts on the edge of the workpiece. It works well for ripping longer workpieces. When connected to the motor side of the saw, it can accommodate material widths from 7-1/2" to 13". When connected to the saw blade side of the saw, it can handle material widths from 1-7/16" to 6-1/8". It has a lower overhang below the saw base of 9/16". The parallel guide is guided on both sides and can also serve as a table extension.
