The downdraft table meets specific NFPA requirements and features an interlock pneumatic valve with a blower and time delay. The tools only operate when the table is running. It also has a class ii, group E explosion-proof motor and an aluminum top for a non-spark work surface. The collector's clean-air side has a non-spark aluminum blower. The table has automatic water level control and a vented sump. It also has low voltage control and a lockable fused power disconnect. The working area of the table is 36" wide x 60" long and can accommodate large work pieces. It has casters for easy maneuvering and they can be locked securely into place. There are models available that direct exhaust down, up, or to the side. The table has overload protection and a fused disconnect for safety. It is constructed with sturdy 12-gauge steel and includes shields for both sides and the back. The system is easy to maintain and does not require replacement of paper filters.
