Ideal for locating moisture in carpets and sub-flooring. Ultra-sensitive Digital Moisture Meter easily detects hidden leaks in wood, concrete, plaster and carpet. Providing accurate moisture level readings make this tool great for new home inspections, locating roof leaks or even selecting dry lumber at the yard. Display will show the moisture content in Percent Moisture Content directly. Measures moisture content by detecting a material’s electrical resistivity using two pins.

  • Pull out protection cover, remove protection caps from the pins
  • Press power button to switch on tool. LOW LED will turn on, and LCD will display “_ _ _”. Default measuring mode is for wood. Press button MODE to switch material
  • Insert the two detection pins into the target material
  • Wood mode shows a moisture percentage between 5% and 50%. Below 5% screen will display "_ _ _", whereas over 50% screen will display "- - -"
  • Building material mode shows a moisture percentage between 1,5% and 33%. Below 1,5% screen will display "_ _ _", whereas over 33% screen will display "- - -"
  • Press HOLD button when measuring to store data. Press button again to deactivate function
  • Keep pressing HOLD button to turn off the buzzer sound when measuring
  • Keep pressing power button for 2 seconds to switch off tool
