The joiner tool has a 6.5 Amp, 10,000 RPM motor for working with hard woods. The tool has a dual rack and pinion fence that keeps the blade and fence parallel for accurate joints. The fence can be adjusted and tilted from 0 to 90 degrees, allowing for flush cuts without removing it. There is a 45 degree locating notch in the fence for indexing off the outside surface of a mitered joint. The joiner also has a non-marring, heavy-duty aluminum shoe for clamping it for stationary work.
