Makita XNB09Z, 18V LXT 2‑1/2" Brushless Cordless Metal Connector Nailer, Bare Tool

The 18V LXT 2-1/2" Positive Placement Metal Connector Nailer (XNB09) delivers the power of pneumatic without the hassles of an air compressor, electrical cords, and air hoses. The nailer is engineered for efficient fastening of common metal connectors in lumber construction including joist hangers, hurricane and rafter ties, and framing angles/brackets.

The XNB09 can accept 30°– 35° metal connector nails from 1-1/2“ to 2-1/2" and .131" to .162" for added versatility. The Metal Connector Nailer features a 50% longer nail guide aligns fasteners with metal connector ties for accurate nail placement. It can drive up to 1,000 metal connector nails using a fully-charged 18V LXT 6.0Ah Battery (battery sold separately).

The Metal Connector Nailer features "Tool-less" depth adjustments that are engineered for more precise nailing and control when securing metal connectors to wood. It can drive metal connector nails into dense engineered lumber with power and ease. It features an anti-dry fire mechanism that is engineered to help prevent driving blanks.

Convenience features include an ergonomically designed handle with rubberized soft grip that provides increased user comfort, a belt hook with a retractable, extra-wide tool hook that secures the tool when not in use, and a built-in L.E.D. light that illuminates the work area. The XNB09 weighs only 11.5 lbs. with 18V LXT 6.0Ah Battery (battery sold separately) for reduced operator fatigue.
