The low-profile premium urethane weight-mated sanding pad can be connected to a portable self-contained dust collection system. The rotor of the pad has five blades and produces more power. It is made of composite material, which is stronger and has better lubricating qualities, making the blades last longer. The base of the pad has an integrated rubber over-mold for a non-slip feel and insulation from the cold. The air motor is suspended by vibration-absorbing rubber rings to minimize vibration. It also has a triple-sealed front double row balancer bearing that is guarded from sanding residue for long life. An anti-clog design enhances the vacuum pick-up on self-generated models and directs dust particles away from the air motor. The pad also has a comfort platform that provides hand and wrist support and protects against cold air exhaust. The sound level of the pad is measured according to ISO regulation ISO-15744.
