This Electric Portable Vacuum is specifically designed for safely recovering metallic dusts such as aluminum, magnesium, titanium, and commercial alloys. The vacuum has a maximum capacity of 3 lbs (1.36 kg) of dust and is legally certified as explosion-proof and dust ignition-proof. It can be used to recover metallic, conductive, and explosive dusts by immersing them in a liquid bath such as water, paraffin oil, or mineral oil. The vacuum has a HEPA H14 filter with 99.995% efficiency on 0.3 micron particles, which is located downstream of the motor. The recovery tank is made of stainless steel (SAE 304) and can be easily detached and connected. The unit is static-dissipating and conductive. It has been leak tested for quality assurance and is equipped with easy-glide casters. The vacuum is designed for use in hazardous locations as defined in the National Electric Code (NFPA 70), including Class I, Division I, Group D T3C and Class II, Division I, Groups E, F, and G. The vacuum is suitable for use in various groups of atmospheres containing flammable gases, flammable liquid-produced vapors, combustible liquid-produced vapors mixed with air, potentially combustible dusts (including aluminum, magnesium, and their commercial alloys), combustible carbonaceous dusts (such as coal, carbon black, charcoal, and coke dust), and wood and plastic dusts. The vacuum comes with one conductive coaxial hose with integrated air lines, one composite coupler, one vacuum hose swivel adapter, a conductive recovery bag, and a HEPA H14 filter.
