Makita GSH06Z 40V Max XGT 16‑5/16" Cordless Circular Saw, Bare Tool

The 40V max XGT 16-5/16" Circular Saw, AWS Capable, (GSH06) is the world’s largest cordless circular saw and offers up to 30% faster cutting speeds than corded*. It is ideal for cutting large timber, pressure treated lumber and wood logs. The GSH06 can deliver up to up to 75 cuts per charge in 6x12 lumber on a single charge of a 5.0Ah battery (battery sold separately).

The 16-5/16" Circular Saw can cut 6x material at 90° and 4x material at 45° in a single pass. It features a 0-45° bevel capacity with positive stops at 15°, 30°, and 45°. The GSH06 delivers large capacity blade cuts of 6-1/4" at 90° and 4-3/16" at 45°. It also features a compact and ergonomic die-cast aluminum design that weighs only 24.3 lbs., 4.1 lbs. lighter than corded*.

Convenience features include an electric brake for maximum productivity, a blade stabilizer for stable blade rotation and superior cutting performance, as well as a bevel lock that allows the user to adjust the cutting bevel angle quickly and easily. It also features Soft Start, which suppresses start-up reaction for improved accuracy.

The saw is equipped with Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), which is a series of integrated seals designed to improve a tool’s operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components.

The GSH06 features the Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS), which uses Bluetooth technology for wireless power-on and power-off communication between the equipped tool and dust extractor. Once connected via AWS, the AWS-equipped dust extractor will automatically power on or off when the AWS-equipped cordless tool starts or stops, running only when the tool is in use. This increases productivity on a single charge and reduces continuous noise at the job or work site.
