Clamex P-14 (120 pairs)

The Clamex P-14 is a detachable furniture connector and is anchored in the workpiece with the positively-locking P-System groove in a matter of seconds. Thanks to the minimalist 6 mm opening, the Clamex P-14 is powerfully tighjtened and released using a lever similar to a cam connector. The Clamex P-14 stands for perfect aesthetics due to the small access hole, which is just 6 mm in diameter and enables almost completely concealed joints. Designed for butt joints and mitre joints, the Clamex P-14 is also characterised by an extremely time-saving manufacturing process. The P-System groove is manufactured precisely either with the Zeta P2 biscuit joiner or with a CNC machining centre. The connectors can then be effortlessly inserted into the grooves, and the workpieces seamlessly assembled and firmly joined with a slight actuation of the lever. Waiting times are therefore completely eliminated and an assembled workpiece can be further processed straight away or prepared for shipping. Same as with the proven Lamello system, the Clamex P-14 can be used for wood joining at almost any angle and mitres. Unlike with a cam, obtuse, acute or flat angles can also be assembled and firmly joined. For this reason, the connector is often also used as a gluing aid for difficult-to-clamp workpieces.

Applications:

  • Detachable connecting fitting for panel materials in furniture construction
  • Gluing aid for mitres or difficult-to-clamp angles
  • In kitchen manufacturing for tall cupboards, carcass manufacturing or open shelf units
  • For interior fitting for built-in cupboards, wardrobes under stairs or sloping roofs
  • In furniture construction for high-quality furniture with mitre connections or special angles, wine racks or bookshelves
  • Powerful alternative to standard connecting fittings
  • Rapid prototype construction before starting a new furniture range
  • Butt joints from a material thickness of 15 mm
  • Mitre connections from a material thickness of 18 mm

Clamex P-10 (30 pairs)

The Clamex P-10 is a detachable furniture connector that is inserted into the workpiece with a positive lock in seconds. The Clamex P-10 is powerfully connected and released using a lever in a similar way to a cam connector. Compared to the Clamex P-14, the Clamex P-10 has a groove depth of only 10 mm and can therefore be used for thinner materials. The furniture connector is ideal for mitre connections and sharp angles. Like the larger Clamex P-14, the Clamex P-10 also requires an access hole of just 6 mm in diameter. Combined with its small size, the furniture connector enables aesthetic furniture designs in thin material thicknesses with joints that are almost completely concealed and in many angles. The Clamex P-10 does not use adhesive and is distinguished by its time-saving manufacturing process. The P-System groove is produced either with the Zeta P2 biscuit joiner or a CNC machining centre. The connectors are then pushed into the grooves in seconds and the workpieces are assembled and powerfully connected using levers. Waiting times are completely eliminated and an assembled workpiece can be further processed straight away or made available for shipping.

Applications:

  • Detachable connecting fitting for panel materials in furniture construction
  • Gluing aid for mitres or difficult-to-clamp angles
  • Concealed mitres in plywood from 15 mm or chipboard from 16 mm
  • Joining of wooden drawers from a material thickness of 12 mm
  • In kitchen manufacturing in tall cupboards, carcass manufacturing or open shelf units
  • In furniture construction involving high-quality furniture with mitre connections or unusual angles, wine racks or bookshelves
  • Butt joints from a material thickness of 12 mm
  • Mitre connections from a material thickness of 15 mm

Clamex P Medius (30 pairs)

The Clamex P-14/10 Medius is a detachable furniture connector that is anchored in the positive-locking P-System groove in a matter of seconds. With a minimalist 6 mm opening, it is connected and released via a lever in a similar way to a cam connector. Developed as a supplement to the Clamex P-14, the Clamex P-14/10 Medius has the same advantages. These include excellent aesthetics due to the largely concealed joints, the small access hole, mitre connections at various angles and the powerfully joined, yet detachable connectors. The only difference with the Clamex P-14/10 Medius is the different-sized connector halves. If two shelves of the same height meet one dividing panel, the P-10-sized connector half can be inserted into the dividing panel from both sides. Due to the crescent-shaped recesses on the back of the connector halves, it is possible to connect dividing panels from 16 mm. With the Clamex P-14, a dividing panel of 28 mm would be required in this situation. This makes the Clamex P-14/10 Medius the ideal solution for the dividing panels in a piece of furniture.

Applications:

  • Concealed dividing panel joints from 16 mm with two shelves
  • Detachable connector for panel materials in furniture construction
  • Gluing aid for mitres or difficult-to-clamp angles
  • In furniture construction for high-quality furniture with mitre connections or special angles, wine racks or bookshelves
  • Stronger alternative to standard connecting fittings
  • Rapid prototyping in the development of new furniture ranges
  • Butt joints from a material thickness of 12 mm
  • Mitre connections from a material thickness of 18 mm

Tenso P-14 incl. clip (80 pairs)

The Tenso P-14 is a self-clamping connector for gluing wood composites and is anchored in the positive-locking P-System groove in the workpiece in a matter of seconds. The Tenso P-14 consists of a connector half with powerful tension springs. These anchor in the counterpart and generate high pressure on the joint. This high clamping force allows the user to glue furniture parts or wood composites without clamps, protectors, tape or presses. The Tenso presses the joints together at the correct angle, always perpendicular to the cutting angle of the two workpieces. The Tenso P-14 enables the user to glue workpieces extremely quickly with time savings throughout the entire manufacturing process: efficiency in the milling of the P-System groove, inserting the connectors by hand and without glue or screws, and in the glue application and subsequent joining of the workpieces. Waiting times are completely eliminated and an assembled workpiece can be further processed straight away or made available for shipping. The Tenso P-14 is completely concealed so workpieces can be produced with perfect aesthetics without visible joints. As with the proven Lamello system, the connector can be used for almost any connection angle. This means that obtuse, acute or flat angles can also be connected, which is why the connector is often used as a gluing aid for difficult-to-clamp workpieces. The preload clip is optionally used when mitres are glued or, in the case of larger components, when several connectors must be assembled simultaneously in a row. The preload clip increases the lateral tolerance during assembly and reduces the force required to connect the Tenso P-14.

Applications:

  • Self-clamping furniture connector for gluing in kitchen manufacturing, furniture construction or interior fitting
  • Gluing aid for difficult-to-clamp joints, such as counters or wall panels in interior fitting
  • Gluing of pillar cladding
  • Furniture with 5-sided mitre connections
  • More complex furniture can be glued and assembled piece by piece instead of applying glue to all workpieces and clamping the furniture under tight time constraints
  • Dry joints before gluing with the Bisco P-14
  • Butt joints from a material thickness of 15 mm
  • Mitre connections from a material thickness of 18 mm

Tenso P-10 incl. clip (30 pairs)

The Tenso P-10 is a self-clamping connector for gluing wood composites and is anchored to the workpiece in seconds with the Zeta P2 biscuit joiner. The Tenso P-10 consists of a connector half with powerful tension springs. These anchor in the counterpart and generate high pressure on the joint. This high clamping force allows the user to glue furniture parts or wood composites without clamps, protectors, tape or presses. Compared to the larger Tenso P-14, the Tenso P-10 has a lower milling depth of only 10 mm, enabling the user to make use of the many advantages of the Tenso P connector even in thinner materials. These advantages include the extremely fast gluing of workpieces, which saves time throughout the entire manufacturing process. There is no waiting time as a finished piece of furniture can be further processed straight away or made available for shipping. The Tenso P-10 is completely concealed and can be used for almost any connection angle. This means that obtuse, acute or flat angles can also be connected. Compared to the Tenso P-14, the Tenso P-10 is stiffer due to its smaller design and requires more force when joining. However, the clamping force with which the workpieces are then clamped is almost identical. Since a higher force is required for the connection, the preload clip is included in the scope of delivery of the Tenso P-10. It is inserted shortly before assembly so that the spring is preloaded and the required force is reduced. In addition, the preload clip used increases the lateral tolerance, which simplifies the assembly of larger components with several connectors in a row.

Applications:

  • Self-clamping connector for gluing in kitchen manufacturing, furniture construction or interior fitting
  • Difficult-to-clamp joints, such as in counters or wall panels in interior fitting
  • Gluing of pillar cladding, bathroom furniture, sideboards, small shelves, door frames, cladding, false edges, ornate frames
  • Furniture with 5-sided mitre connections
  • More complex furniture can be glued and assembled piece by piece instead of applying glue to all workpieces and clamping the furniture under tight time constraints
  • Dry joints before gluing with the Bisco P-10
  • Butt joints from a material thickness of 12 mm
  • Mitre connections from a material thickness of 16 mm

Bisco P-14 (20 pieces), Bisco P-10 (20 pieces)

The Bisco P is a plastic element. The aligning element fits into the 7 mm wide P-System groove. However, it is not anchored with positive locking like the Clamex P, but instead clamps in the groove due to its surface structure. It can be used like a wooden biscuit with PVA glue as a fixed joint. The Bisco P is used in combination with the Clamex P when only every second connector needs to apply clamping force and an aligning element in between is sufficient for joint flushness as an invisible and cost-effective alternative. Another application is the use for test connections before a workpiece is joined with a Tenso P and adhesive. The clamping force of the Tenso P is very powerful and, depending on the angle of the workpieces, disassembly may require a lot of force. It is therefore advisable to check the precision of the machining with a Bisco P. The Biscos are then simply removed from the grooves, replaced by Tenso P, adhesive is then applied and the workpieces are joined together. The Bisco P-14 is used in combination with the Clamex P-14 or Tenso P-14, the Bisco P-10 with connectors of size P-10.

Applications:

  • In combination with the Clamex P or Tenso P in furniture construction
  • Applications similar to the Lamello original wooden biscuit
  • Size P10: butt joints from a material thickness of 12 mm, mitre connections from a material thickness of 18 mm
  • Size P14: butt joints from a material thickness of 15 mm, mitre connections from a material thickness of 18 mm

Divario P-18 (80 pairs)

The Divario P-18 is a detachable furniture connector for slide insertion. The groove is milled with a Zeta P2 biscuit joiner or a CNC machining centre and the connector is anchored in the workpiece in seconds using the positive-locking P-System groove. The Divario P-18 is designed so that it clamps the workpieces together during insertion and thus ensures perfectly tight joints. The build-up of pressure itself only occurs at specific points and not over the entire insertion length, which facilitates insertion. Since no lever or cam needs to be used, assembly is very efficient and the connector is invisible. If a piece of furniture or a shelf unit is manufactured with several fixed shelves or separating walls, the Divario P-18 offers the option of connecting the outer carcass first. The interior, i.e.fixed shelves or dividing panels, are then inserted piece by piece. This means that a bookcase can be transported in individual parts or simply as a simple carcass, saving space and weight. The shelves are simply inserted on site. The press-fit joint between the components allows the joint to take on high tensile forces. For example, a vertical centre bar can firmly connect the underside of a hanging shelf and bear loads. A groove is milled in the shelf at the front so that the workpiece can be installed via the protruding connector half at the side. The small groove on the rear side of the shelf can be unsightly when creating a shelf that is visible from both sides. For this purpose, the longitudinal groove is offset on both sides so that the joint is completely concealed from all sides. In this application, the shelf is not inserted afterwards, but is inserted and moved during the assembly of the shelf until it is clamped.

Applications:

  • Self-clamping furniture connector for inserting shelves or vertical dividing panels
  • In combination with the Clamex P or Tenso P, which are used for the corner connections
  • In kitchen manufacturing in tall cupboards, carcass manufacturing or open shelf units
  • In interior fitting for shelf partitions in built-in cabinets
  • In furniture construction for high-quality furniture, wine racks or bookshelves
  • Stronger alternative to standard connecting fittings
  • Dividing panels from a material thickness of 18 mm
  • Shelves from a material thickness of 12 mm
