Amana Tool 54227 3-3/8" Carbide Tipped Traditional Raised Panel Router Bit with Back Cutter

Raised panels fit standard panel grooves, even when the panel thickness exceeds 5/8". As the main cutter raises the front of the panel, the back cutter mills the back to produce a standard-thickness tongue around the panel. Each tool is supplied with two different guide bearings, enabling us to stage cuts on curved edges effectively and safely. All tools have 1/2" shanks. Multiple passes recommended.

Note: Reveal ('A') reflects the total length of cut. Therefore, we must deduct 3/8" (usually) for allowing the panel to recess into the frame.
