The Perfect Stops for Planing, Scraping & Sanding

Clamps are a great way to fix your workpiece and with 20x96 millimeter hole patterned worktops, you have plenty of clamping options. While the traditional F-style clamp works great for many workholding tasks, many routine woodworking operations such as planing, scraping or sanding often require unobstructed access to the top of your work surface. That’s where these low profile bench stops come in handy.

Designed with a low profile and available in sets with two thickness options (low profile and ultra low profile), these stops are thin enough to pass under most hand tools and sanders. Select the Ultra Low Profile Stops when working with material as thin as 5mm in thickness, choose our standard Low Profile Stops for materials 12mm (about ½") or thicker, or select the Complete Bench Stop Bundle to receive both sets in a custom foam Systainer insert—perfect for use with our TSO Systainer³ M 112 enclosure.

Each set includes two right-angle and two straight stops that can be quickly installed into your table to provide a solid backing surface against your work. Each set includes four custom versions of our Smart Connect Bench Dogs for fixturing into your table. In most cases, you won't need to clamp these dogs from underneath your table unless you want a more permanent fixture. These bench stops are made in the USA from brushed 6061-T6 aluminum.
